Great Workout!Sep 06, 2010
I like this workout dvd because it feels more like you are dancing than working out. The disco groove section will make you feel like you are back in the 70's by reliving those old school dances.

Shaun T has taken the disco/dance/fun format of Richard Simmons and updated to make it totally cool for 2010. It's incredibly rare to make such a perfect workout like this; you need just the right personality and moves. Disco Lady was right: you feel like you really are dancing at a club. This workout is hip-hop-like but not complex at all. I learned the entire thing the first time around. That's amazing. Shaun T is a genius because he understands that average dancers need repetition of a move to get into the groove of it before moving on to the next move-- but that we aren't dumb so he doesn't make it slow and boring. He's a PERFECT que-er. Tells you what's coming up next but makes it part of a song he's singing to you instead of being annoying or jarring to you mentally. You sweat in these dvds, it's real-good cardio. I just bought pussycat dolls workout, dance with julianna, all the dancing with the stars dvds, all the carmen electra, etc, I buy them all - but nothing so far comes close to these four hard-working, fun, not-complex workouts. They are ALL my idea of workout-utopia! So fun! I love Shaun T's relaxed, laid-back, have-a-good-time-and-sweat philosophy. The man's style and brains create workout routines sent from the heavens. Thank you Shaun T. You are just a great guy to workout with. My thinner-self applauds and thanks you for all these inspirational, good times.

Nice alternative to strength trainingFeb 21, 2010
Good alternative to my weight training and cardio workouts. I do this work out once a week on one of my off days. It is low impact and is helps maintain mobility after I get too stiff from weight training. It's a fun workout that is quite different from my regular routine. Shaun T is great and the ladies in the back are greater. 4 workouts, reasonable price, fun and full of energy, get it.

I found these set of workout's, way too all over the place..very difficult to sometime's keep up with...I love my previous cd order(Shaun T's hip hop ab's, I would recomend those instead....

Shaun T is a fantastic instructor; has a great sense of humor, very motivating. His instructions are clear and the moves are easy to follow. Makes working out fun!!!
Anytime you incorporate dance in a workout you can't help but have a good time. I strongly recommend this DVD and any Shaun is associated with.
