 Enjoyable look into the life....Sep 25, 2009

My girlfriend and I picked up this DVD when we saw Mates of State play in summer of 2008.
It was very enjoyable for the kind of hardcore fan that goes to concerts and owns the albums,
but would drag and be kind of boring for those that don't love Mates of State already.
It is not a good introduction to the band; it is the kind of masturbatory band documentary
aimed at existing fans. Which isn't necessarily a bad thing.

It's a great DVD, and definitely takes a real fan to enjoy. Like one who's got/ or intends to listen to ALL of their recordings, and would advertise for them.
And also, it says at the top of this webpage that it's only compatible in US/Canada. That's a lie; it's ALL REGION COMPATIBLE (yes, they REALLY exist). I found this a little insulting to MoS since they promote world peace, and saying they produce materials that are available exclusively to one part of the world sullies what should be an absolute clean reputation.
