Stay All Night Stay a Little Longer and Watch Country Style USA!Oct 05, 2009

I bought seasons two and three of COUNTRY STYLE USA on dvd a couple of years ago at the same time and reviewed the third season shortly thereafter. Now I'm finally posting a review of season two (never did buy season one, just too many DVD goodies out there!). As with the other seasons, this is a collection of thirteen B&W 15 minute episodes of country music circa 1958 that was a weekly program "sponsored" by the U.S. Army. The episodes all open and close with the song "Stay All Night, Stay a Little Longer. Charlie Applewhite is the host for every episode except for the final one, in which Richard Hayes substitutes. Here's the great live classic country music contained in this DVD:
