Probably one of the most outstanding blues-rock guitarists on the scene today, Popa displays all shades of his blues on this live DVD. He engineered the 5.1 digital recording himself, too, and the quality is excellent. It's a bit limited in the quantity of songs, but some are extended instrumentally, allowing for his 6-string flair to shine. A must for blues-rock fans.

I have a couple of his CD's and this guy can play a guitar! This is a very good performance from a man who seems to be getting bigger in both reputation and size. I find it hard to believe his big fingers don't cause a lot of miss notes during his playing. The band plays tight and every one seems to be having fun, I love this style of blues rock. His song selection is not boring or redundant and is fun to watch, although not the best person to look at due to his size. (No offence to big people, but...) I still enjoyed watching him play though. I would recommend this to any one who likes Popa Chubby or blues rock, it is very well recorded, mixed, and produced with very good video quality.
I wish Amazon had a 3 criteria rating that would make for a quicker, more accurate and fair rating of Cd's, DVD's and Blu-ray's.

Artists that wish to have there performances recorded and recognized should be held to a standard. Poor Audio or Video, no matter how good the performance, is still a bad product. Those who would still purchase sub-standard Audio or Video quality recordings and rank that product highly just because of performance are not doing the industry or the band justice. Demand better and we will get it, settle for less and that's what you'll get.

Popa Chubby is a GREAT guitarist, with some great ideas. This DVD shows him and his band tearin it up in Europe. While I don't think Popa is going to step up to challange Joe Bonamassa any time soon, give credit where it's due. Some average songs some great songs LOTS of killer guitar.

I purchased this DVD because I enjoyed the Big Man Big Guitar CD and wanted to see him perform. Overall, this is a decent video, however it appeared there might be some overdubbing, as at times the perfomance did not align with the audio. No big deal though as it still captures the essence of this great modern day blues guitarist.
